Limelight helps performing-arts ensembles run themselves: student profiles, scheduling and rehearsals, casting, resources, messaging and notifications, all in one place. It’s mobile-first, with native iOS and Android apps alongside a web dashboard for teachers and administrators.
It’s the project that gives this corner of the site its name. Building it has been a study in everything that legal software gets wrong - making something people genuinely want to open every day, on their phone, in the middle of a busy rehearsal.
Built with React, Firebase and Stream Chat, with a Playwright test suite keeping the whole thing honest.
